Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum
The site of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall is "Kom Tong Hall ". It was originally the residence of Hong Kong businessman Ho Gantang. It was completed in 1914. The memorial hall was opened to the public in 2006. It has four floors and two permanent exhibition halls. It displays a number of precious historical relics and diversified audio-visual programs. It comprehensively explains the life and deeds of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and Hong Kong in the late 19th century. The important role played in the reform and revolutionary movement in the early twentieth century made local citizens and overseas tourists remember the footprints of this great man in Hong Kong.......
Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery
The Fireboat Grantham Exhibition Hall is an exhibition hall with the theme of Hong Kong's maritime firefighting history. It opened in 2007. The exhibition hall covers an area of about 1,200 square meters. It preserves the fire-fighting ship Grantham manufactured in Hong Kong in 1953 and retired in 2002. There is also an exhibition hall displaying unique fire-fighting cultural relics, supplemented by multimedia presentations to enhance citizens’ understanding of Hong Kong’s maritime rescue work. know.......
Hong Kong Racing Museum
Hong Kong Racing Museum has 8 exhibition halls, a cinema with a capacity of 84 people, and a gift gallery. The themes of each exhibition hall include the history of horse racing in Hong Kong, the development history of Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourse, as well as information on several generations of famous horses. Including the skeleton of the three-time Ma Wang Luyi and the specimen of Cuihe, the movie theater regularly screens short films about horse racing, allowing visitors to have a deeper understanding of the history of horse racing in Hong Kong. The Horse Racing Museum is free of charge. Since its opening, it has attracted more than 360,000 Hong Kong citizens and overseas tourists.......
Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences
The Hong Kong Museum of Medicine is a British Edwardian building made of red bricks. The museum is a legal monument in Hong Kong and carries the history of Hong Kong's medical development. It is also one of the first museums in the world to compare Chinese and Western pathology. The Hong Kong Museum of Medicine, opened in early 1996, has 11 distinctive exhibition halls. The premises of the museum were formerly the "Bacteriology Laboratory" and the "Hong Kong Academy of Pathology", which were later repurposed for current purposes. This building is a masterpiece of a Hong Kong architect in the early 20th century. The ceiling of the main entrance lobby is decorated with plaster lace, which looks elegant and solemn, and there are several rare fireplaces.......
Sam Tung Uk Museum
Three houses was originally a fenced village with a history of more than 200 years. It is one of the oldest fenced villages in Hong Kong. It was listed as a statutory monument in 1981. The museum covers an area of about 2,000 square meters. The building layout is like a chessboard and is symmetrical. The front hall, middle hall and ancestral hall were built on the central axis. On both sides are four independent bedrooms, and the horizontal houses on the left, right and back surround the whole village. In June 2016, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office established the "Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage Center" at the San Tung Uk Museum as its display and education center to promote intangible cultural heritage by organizing educational activities and exhibitions.......
Hong Kong Film Archive
The Hong Kong Film Archive is a museum for the preservation and exhibition of Hong Kong films and related materials. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The Hong Kong Film Archive is a 5-storey building with a total floor area of 7,200 square meters. The building is divided into two parts, with half of each floor serving as a collection room. The other half are exhibition halls and movie theaters, and a resource center for reference. The archive promotes Hong Kong film art for Hong Kong citizens and provides a large amount of information for film workers and researchers.......
Hong Kong Maritime Museum
The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is a vibrant cultural institution dedicated to the preservation, collection and display of maritime and trade stories in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. The museum was founded in 2005 as a non-profit registered charity supported by the Hong Kong Shipowners Association. The museum opened in Murray House, Stanley in 2005, and moved to Central Pier 8 in 2013, with a great location. The museum attracts about 100,000 people to visit each year. The three-story building covers an area of 4,400 square meters and houses more than 1,200 collections. It also has 13 exhibition halls, special exhibition halls, resource centers, cafes, and gift shops. With the Nautical Boutique Gallery, you can see the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbour.......
Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change
Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change in the Chinese University of Hong Kong is the world's first museum with the theme of climate change.
