Wong Nai Chung Sports Centre
Wong Nai Chung Sports Centre is located on the 4th to 6th floor of Wong Nai Chung Municipal Services Building, 2 Yuk Sau Street, Happy Valley. It was opened in June 1996. The gymnasium provides diversified recreational facilities. Individuals and groups are welcome to rent them during opening hours. In addition, the gymnasium holds different types of recreational and sports activities every month, and citizens are welcome to sign up.......
Hong Kong Racing Museum
Hong Kong Racing Museum has 8 exhibition halls, a cinema with a capacity of 84 people, and a gift gallery. The themes of each exhibition hall include the history of horse racing in Hong Kong, the development history of Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourse, as well as information on several generations of famous horses. Including the skeleton of the three-time Ma Wang Luyi and the specimen of Cuihe, the movie theater regularly screens short films about horse racing, allowing visitors to have a deeper understanding of the history of horse racing in Hong Kong. The Horse Racing Museum is free of charge. Since its opening, it has attracted more than 360,000 Hong Kong citizens and overseas tourists.......
Hindu Temple Happy Valley
There are about 40,000 Hindus in Hong Kong, and their religious and social activities are mainly held in Indian temples in the racecourse. Indian temples are used for meditation, spiritual lectures, yoga practices, and engagement, marriage and funeral ceremonies. Indian temples are celebrated in various festivals such as the Festival of Light, the Festival of Town Evil, the Festival of Water Splash, the Festival of Elephant Head and the Festival of Monkeys. Every Sunday morning, Hindus gather here, play religious music and preach. After Sunday parties and Monday evenings, members of the public can enjoy free meals.......
