Introduction
There are about 40,000 Hindus in Hong Kong, and their religious and social activities are mainly held in Indian temples in the racecourse. Indian temples are used for meditation, spiritual lectures, yoga practices, and engagement, marriage and funeral ceremonies. Indian temples are celebrated in various festivals such as the Festival of Light, the Festival of Town Evil, the Festival of Water Splash, the Festival of Elephant Head and the Festival of Monkeys. Every Sunday morning, Hindus gather here, play religious music and preach. After Sunday parties and Monday evenings, members of the public can enjoy free meals.
