Introduction
Murray House is a Victorian building in Hong Kong. It was originally located in Central on Hong Kong Island and later moved to Stanley. At present, the floors are mainly used for restaurants.
When you visit Murray House, you can start to appreciate the architecture. The Murray Building combines the architectural features of the East and the West. The circular stone pillars imitating the ancient Greek style and the roof of the Chinese tile surface reveal a touch of classical beauty. When you stand in front of this three-story granite building, it is hard to imagine how Murray House "moved" from Central to here. It turned out that Murray Building was originally located on Garden Road in Central. When it was demolished in 1982, the Hong Kong government had planned to find another place to rebuild it. Therefore, more than 3,000 pieces of granite in Murray Building were numbered and then It was "stacked" again in Stanley in 1998.
