Yung Shue Wan
Yung Shue Wan is a bay in the northwest of Lamma Island. It takes only half an hour to reach Yung Shue Wan by boat from Central. 70% of the residents of Lamma Island live in Yung Shue Wan. Coupled with its laid-back atmosphere, many foreigners have been attracted to live here in recent years, and shops such as bookstores and coffee shops have been opened. Sok Kwu Wan, Lamma Island
Sok Kwu Wan is located on the east coast of Lamma Island. There are many seafood restaurants nearby. Among them, the "Rainbow Seafood Restaurant", which has won the "Greatest Gourmet Award", is a hot spot for seafood cuisine. There is also a 150-year-old Tin Hau Temple nearby. It only takes half an hour to take a ferry from Central to Sok Kwu Wan. If you are not afraid of the long journey, you can even travel to and from Yung Shue Wan along the Family Path on Lamma Island.......
Hung Shing Yeh Beach
Hung Shing Yeh Beach is a well-known beach on Lamma Island. The water is clear and the sand is fine. Many tourists and residents of the island love to come to swim and sunbathe. The beach is about 15-20 minutes’ walk from Yung Shue Wan Pier and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Beach facilities include barbecue areas, changing rooms, showers and toilets. Beach lifeguards are on duty from April to October in summer.......
Lamma Wind Power Station
Lamma Wind Power Station, Lamma Island, is the first wind power station in Hong Kong. It was built by the Hong Kong Electric Company at a cost of 15 million Hong Kong dollars and officially opened on February 23, 2006. It is expected to provide 250 households with electricity for one year. The "Big Windmill" is 71 meters high and is open to visitors for free. There is a viewing pavilion near the power station, from here you can enjoy the scenery of the southern district of Hong Kong Island and Lamma Island.......
