Introduction
The Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple is located on Wanfo Mountain behind Paitou Village, Shatian District, Hong Kong. It was built by Master Yuexi in 1949 and completed in 1957. The temple covers an area of 65,000 square feet. 4 pavilions, 1 corridor and 1 tower. It is called Wanfo Temple. Actually there are more than 12800 Buddha statues. In addition, here is the only lacquered statue of Master Yuexi in Hong Kong, which is now enshrined in the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple is built on the mountain, and the mountain road is very steep. If wheelchairs/persons with mobility impairments are not necessary, please carefully consider going to Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple.
