Introduction

The Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple is located on Wanfo Mountain behind Paitou Village, Shatian District, Hong Kong. It was built by Master Yuexi in 1949 and completed in 1957. The temple covers an area of 65,000 square feet. 4 pavilions, 1 corridor and 1 tower. It is called Wanfo Temple. Actually there are more than 12800 Buddha statues. In addition, here is the only lacquered statue of Master Yuexi in Hong Kong, which is now enshrined in the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
