Introduction
Fishermen lived in Sai Kung as early as the 14th century. It was originally a silent fishing village. In the 1920s, Saigon became a place where villagers from all districts of Saigon came to buy and sell. As Saigon City itself is a fishing village, fishermen often gather here, and gradually developed into a seafood resort. Today, the streets along the Saigon Public Pier are all these stalls selling seafood, and there are some seafood restaurants.

Most of the downtown area of Sai Kung is very wide, so wheelchair users can go alone.
