Introduction
"Lei Shengchun" was designed and built by the architect Mr. Bull. It was completed around 1931. The building is characterized by a perforated and wide corridor facing the street (commonly known as "Zou Ma Qi Lou"). The ground floor here used to be the "Lei Shengchun" Dieda Pharmacy, and the upper floor is the residence, which represents the former lifestyle of "buying on the bottom and living on the top". It has now been converted into "Hong Kong Baptist University School of Chinese Medicine-Lei Shengchun Hall". The ground of the building is a herbal tea house and display area, and the first to third floors are Chinese medicine clinics. The ground display area is open for free, and you can also book a free guided tour service to visit other floors.
FG Tips
Lei Sheng Chun is a first-class historical building and does not have any barrier-free facilities. It is recommended that wheelchair users do not go alone. The underground is open to the public, and the 2-3 floors are accessible only after participating in a guided tour. It can be reached by wheelchair from the underground to the rooftop.
