Introduction
Kadoorie Farm is located on the northern slope and foothills of Da Mo Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains and forests. There are valleys and clear streams in the farm. There are also many vegetable gardens and terraced farms. It is a large farm that integrates sightseeing and nature education. Kadoorie Farm was established in 1956 by the Kadoorie brothers. It was originally designed to help poor farmers in Hong Kong, but now it is dedicated to nature conservation.
Kadoorie Farm is mainly divided into two areas: uphill and downhill. Those who like pastoral life can go for a walk in Shangshan District. There are nine ecological trails here, allowing you to travel between fields, mountains and forests, such as arbor trails, butterfly trails and orchard trails. If you like animals or insects, you must not miss the Xiashan District, because there are many farmhouses and zoos where you can see butterflies, wild boars, black-eared kites, parrots and owls.
