Introduction
The Government House of Hong Kong is the official residence of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is also the place where the Hong Kong government holds official occasions. During the colonial period, it was called the Governor's Mansion (also known as the Governor's Mansion, the Governor's Mansion or the Governor's Yuan). It was the official residence of the Governor of Hong Kong. After the return of Hong Kong in 1997, it became the official residence of the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. Government House has a history of more than 164 years and has witnessed the development of Hong Kong's history. It is a statutory monument in Hong Kong.
